Representation Revolution: FLM TV Network Launches as America's First Truly Diverse Broadcast Network
Historic Las Vegas-Based Channel 26.5 Breaks Barriers by Uniting American Entertainment with Global Content
LAS VEGAS, NV – In a groundbreaking moment for American television diversity, FLM TV Network has launched on Channel 26.5 (regular tv, just set it and let it play all day) and FLMTV.com Streaming, becoming the first broadcast television network in the United States to unite American blockbuster movies and hit TV shows with dedicated Filipino programming, diverse Asian content, and international entertainment from around the world. This historic launch addresses a critical gap in American media representation while celebrating unity through entertainment.
"I wanted to break barriers and bring the world together as an entertainer through entertainment," says Zaina Juliette, FLM TV Network creator and award-winning entertainer. "Showing the other side—unity in one app and TV network. In these times of division, FLM TV proves we can celebrate American entertainment alongside Filipino, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Latino, and global content all in one place. That's the power of entertainment—it unites us when everything else divides us. We are already in talks for another TV channel."
The FLM TV leadership team embodies the diversity the platform celebrates: Zaina Juliette is Creole-African American, partner Edgar is Filipino-Chinese, and partner Dale Snow is of Irish-British descent. Together, they bring the magic culturally to FLM TV—a truly multicultural team building a truly multicultural platform.
THE REPRESENTATION GAP
Filipino-Americans represent the third-largest Asian-American group and one of the fastest-growing demographics in the United States, with over 4 million people. Despite this significant population, Filipino representation in mainstream American media remains virtually non-existent.
The Statistics Tell the Story:
-
Filipino-Americans comprise 18% of Asian-Americans nationwide
-
Las Vegas has one of the largest Filipino-American populations per capita
-
Less than 2% of network television programming features Filipino content
-
No major broadcast network offers regular Filipino programming
FLM TV Network changes everything.
